Projection Systems
At Sathyam Cinemas our projections are made to comply with SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers) standards.
Thirty projectionists work in two shifts to ensure that our audience have the best ever movie viewing experience in Chennai.
For ensuring continued and regular quality projections, Sathyam Cinemas is one of the few theatres in India to use Advanced Quality Analysis Systems. We have our own Projection System Analyzer for light measurement and Real Time Analyzer for sound measurement.
All our theatres and projector rooms have Uninterrupted Power Supply.
We are the only theatre in India with D Cinema projectors.
For advertisements and trailers we have 2000 ft and 6000 ft spools, and a 35mm slide projector for slides.
Sound Systems
Sathyam Cinemas' sound systems are state of the art. We have installed the latest Dolby CP 650 (master) and 6D DTS processors (slave) and have booth monitors for all channels with QSC (DCA series) amplifiers.
